The plugin sends us nothing
The free Magic Linking WordPress plugin runs on your own server and sends no data to any server of ours: no telemetry, no licence check, no usage statistics. Optional AI features, when available, go only through the AI connector that your site administrator configures in WordPress. What is sent, and to which provider, is decided by that administrator and governed by that provider's terms; Color Vivo does not receive it.
Cookies and trackers
This website sets no cookies and has no analytics or trackers (see the cookies notice). The only third-party resource is Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-bot check), requested only when you start filling in the waitlist form.
What we store if you join the Pro waitlist and newsletter
- Your email address, stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and, separately, a keyed hash of it to avoid duplicates. It is never shown in logs or returned by any public endpoint.
- The language of the page you used, the date and time of your consent and the version of the consent text you accepted.
- To limit abuse we count requests per connection using a keyed hash of the IP address that changes every hour. The IP address itself is not stored.
Purpose and legal basis
To manage the Magic Linking Pro waitlist and to send you, by email, news about Magic Linking (including the launch of Pro). Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), given by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time; withdrawing does not affect what was done before. Providing your email is voluntary.
Where and with whom
We use Cloudflare, Inc. as processor: Workers (processing), D1 (database, created with the EU jurisdiction so that data at rest stays in the European Union) and Turnstile (bot check, which receives technical browser signals and your IP address to decide whether you are human). Requests are handled at the Cloudflare data centre closest to you, so they may pass through countries outside the EU; Cloudflare's data processing addendum covers those transfers with the EU standard contractual clauses and its participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long
For as long as you remain subscribed, with no fixed term. When you unsubscribe (link in every email) or ask us to, the address is deleted.
Unsubscribing and your rights
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that deletes your address from the list. You can also write to info@colorvivo.com, proving your identity, to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es) or your local authority.
